Funny bit about today's cars

Post by matthew1 »

From Denver Auto Enthusiasts group on Facebook:

My wife had to take my decidedly plain GTI out yesterday (so her car wouldn’t get hailed on) When she got back home she told me the following:

Wife: omg it started to rain and the widows were fogging up!

Me: yeah you have to turn the little knob on the right to defog the windows.

Wife: and then I had to manually turn the headlights on.

Me: yeah you have to manually turn the knob on the left to turn the lights on.

Wife: and once the lights were in there’s no little indicator on the dash to confirm they’re on

Me: Once the lights are on, the entire dashboard lights up. 🤷‍♂️

Wife: and then I had to put the wipers on. 🙄

Me: yeah...those too. You have to MANUALLY turn them on. 👌

Wife: and then whenever I came to a stop I kept forgetting that I had to push the clutch in, and it almost stalled like every time.

Me: ....THAT’S IT woman- you’re never driving my car again! 🤬😂

Love her to death though, and at least ‘used to’ be able to drive stick! 🥰👍🏻
