Favorite Brake pad?

OK, I would value your guys opinion on what manufacturer of brake pads you like the best. Here is my list.
NO Made in China stuff.

Jurid, Pagid, Brembo, Bosch, Textar, Akebono & Meyle

All the big brands have different series of pads. The Bosch stuff I put on my car lately was in part made in China, though I think it might have been the discs.

I'm curious to try ATE Ceramic pads since they're not too expensive and supposed to be relatively dust free. Current Bosch standard pads and Zimmermann standard pads before then are and were really dusty.

I like the Akebono ceramics. Reasonable stopping power and super low dust.

Currently have a front EBC Set on a 2008 C30 T5 so can't really tell if it's just the pads alone or in combination. Nothing so far stops like it.

I also have 2 sets of Power Stop (Pad and Rotor) on an 03 Odyssey and O3 Lexus. They seemed great in the beginning but over the years they've begun to groan due to the slot and drilled combo.

The rear brakes for both cars are Nakamoto Combos (Pad & Rotor)

Brembo Rotors & Bosch Pads set is currently on the rear of the 2008 C30 T5. Fine & Smooth.
Pagid Pads on a 1995 E420 (was a great car till May 2010), Textar on friend's even older Benz from Autohaus Arizona.

They all work(ed) fine except for groaning of the Power Stops, nothing exceptionally better one over the other except the EBC.

One last brake pad change out question. I did look at a couple of online video's for our P2"s and specifically the rear pads.
Both video's the guy was removing the caliper. I thought that was not necessary for a simple pad replacement. is this true?

The caliper needs removal to replace the pads. You can remove the bottom caliper bolt, just loosen the top bolt, then slide the caliper upwards to get the pads out of the bracket. The caliper piston needs to be pressed inward.

You got the pads and discs mixed up. To remove discs both the caliper and it's mounting bracket need removal.
