Ambient Temperature sensor

Post by Webpirate »

I know its probably been posted here before but just reaffirming that if your ambient temperature sensor gives wrong readings take off the door panel and clean the plug and sockets before buying a new sensor..

Just saved myself $$$ by cleaning the plug that was all filled with corrosion and applying a teeny tiny amount of dielectric grease. Temperature on dash changed immediately after cleaning the plug
