Disconnect exhaust pipe at 6 bolt double pipe flange, remove the right axle, remove rear driveshaft from angle gear, and then remove the angle gear. With the angle gear out of the way the support bracket bolts and the cat to turbo bolts are accessible.

My car is a 2011 xc60, no shafts needed to replace cat, do not buy a cat from autozone, mine failed in 1 year.
Got full refund, and the CAT did not fit very well, muffler shop needed to cut and weld to make it fit.
My car has 1 ex manifold, and cat pipe splits to 2 pipes.
I bought a really nice cat on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07VN ... UTF8&psc=1
No codes at all since install
