Help please.
Strangest thing. Drove yesterday running random errand and got up this morning and drove about 14 miles to the shop to change oil and swap and replace new twin pieces. Changed oil and filter and now the vehicle wont move, in reverse or drive. I'm totally at a loss here...

Being as your year XC90 was available as a T6, it was conceivable that the twin charge pipe was replaced and something knocked or left loose.
If yours is a T5 I agree you should check to be sure you didn't pull the transmission drain plug accidentally. June

Up date for you guys. Turns out I did indeed pull the trans plug. The fluid was so dark even our shop "mechanic" said it was oil. I should have slowed down and taken my time from the start but in stead it cost me a whole afternoon amd about $80 more. Bright side is I've flushed the tranny now, made a homemade funnel to reach the trans filler valve and replaced the hood latch bc it broke causing a 2 hour delay before i could even start. Luckily I'm patient amd enjoy the challenge but I'm more sore today than from work and I handle 90lbs jackhammers and 36" pipe wrenches most of my days lol. Thanks for your help everyone

If you thought you drained your engine oil as part of a oil change, did you put oil in the engine? If the old oil did not get drained and the new oil was added, the engine must now be overfilled with oil. Just a thought. June
