Hello,
Does anyone know if seat base foams from vehicles without heated seats are the same as heated seat optioned cars? i.e. Do they have the holes for the thermostat and the fixings for the heater pads?
Cheers,
Cookeh

Yes they do have holes for thermostat. I fitted EBay pads when I was retro fitting for heated seats on my non heated fronts (and also did the rears, would have done the third row seats, if a had ‘em) I included a 47 degree c cutout from RS components that fit perfectly.
I just had to make a small hole in the back rest leather to bring the wiring through, otherwise it pulled the pad when seat was laid flat and forward on the passenger side.
I used double sided tape to hold them down, cross wise between the metal bars in the foam. They aren’t going anywhere under that taunt leather/vinyl.
Controversially, I used hog rings to put skins back on and not cable ties...
