Boost Issues on my '98 S70

Post by my98s70glt »

Boost on my ‘98 S70 GLT... thanks to bmdubya for already giving me advice.

Car is essentially Stage 0. Running 16T w/stock T5 ECU and white injectors. Does not burn oil. Recently replaced vacuum lines... no leaks, verified with smoke test. Recently installed pierburg P2R TCV. CBV holds vacuum at 15inHg. Car freely boosts without spikes when WG hose is disconnected from TCV. Car boosts to 4-6psi if I unplug TCV while all hoses still connected. WG is set to ~4.5psi using a converted blood pressure cuff.

Here’s what is happening... feels like an all or nothing situation.
When I moderately to semi-aggressively accelerate from a standstill I am not getting boost through any gears (even as I hit 50mph). If I let off the pedal for a moment at anytime regardless of speed and then re-engage, the car starts to slowly register to maybe 2-5psi. If I floor it while already moving the boost spikes to ~13 psi then hovers around 10psi until I release gas pedal. Any suggestions? Thanks
