ABS rear sensor

I get the 214 code rear right abs sensor. I have the CEL light on, I dread changing these. So I took a tooth brush and brushed the outsides along with giggling the wires. The ABS light has not come back on. I still have the CEL on. Can someone please tell me the correct way to read and reset this code. Maybe it will work now. I unplugged the battery,didn't do it if course. Thank you.

Can I just take out the rear sensors and clean them in hopes this will resolve the light issue.

Abs codes generally need a higher end scanner to clear, or VOL FCR software

Seriously Abscate that s**ks for me thanks for replying, I can't hardly trust anyone to work on my car, ya ever feel like that ) : I'm wondering what the rear sensors look like on my 1994 Volvo 850, was at the jy and took one out of a 96 ,simple but do you know if mine has a long black looking end on it? I don't want to break it. and so you don't think cleaning them will do it, code is right rear sensor. I've ordered the rear sensors I know it's a pita job and l don't want to do this job. Looks like I'm leaving Cali and going to get my car tagged elsewhere. This CEL just won't go off
