Yaw Sensor Arm

Post by jhock »

Had both a Active Chassis Service and Headlight service light pop up yesterday (2010 XC60) and thought I would first check the sensors before taking it to a shop. Sure enough, the front right yaw sensor arm is snapped in two (looks like it might be fiber reinforced plastic - just a little six inch black plastic arm). Easy-ish fix, but I cannot find the arm part number anywhere and it appears that the only way to get it is to buy the whole $300 sensor. Anyone else dealt with this? I do not feel like I will be able to make a very solid repair given the material that arm is made out of.
