Why I become a donator to MVS

I have chosen to become a donor member of the site. My approach has nothing to do with ego. It's a question of balance.

Here, Matthew struggles to maintain the site on his own, like a big one. With modesty and kindness.This activity is time-consuming, by wagonloads of whole nights, I imagine, I who have only ever managed a few Joomla and Wordpress sites. Nothing to see.

The team of moderators is bluffing and simply fantastic.

Here, I have never been judged by my knowledge of mechanics. I have surely made some laugh, no matter.

Here, I have always found an open door and a little light.I have learned and am learning things about my car. My attachment to this car is irrational: it smells like gasoline, it's full of pipes of wires and fluids, sometimes it drags the tires a bit.

Here, I am perfecting my mechanical knowledge. I sometimes have trouble with American, because like in French, there are some common language phrases that I don't master. But nothing that can't be learned with a beer in one hand and a barbecue sausage in the other.

Here I see people like me, asking the same kind of questions, looking for answers.It smells like sweat, pain, grease... Some work in their driveway, others in the back of an old barn. I even know some who goes all over the country to pull a guy out of a mechanical jam. Who makes his road book from the soul. Going around in circles in a huge country, nice way to make your own revolution... It smells like the Blues ! It smells like Rock !

I owe you all, a lot. I say thank you.
