850 Manual Shift Knob and Boot

Nice 850 manual shift knob and boot. No cracks or tears in the boot, the base is also in very good shape with no broken clips. The knob has the typical expected wear, but nothing major.The alignment tab in the knob seems to have worn down, so it spun slightly but that could probably be easily fixed.

Does anybody know if this fits a S70? I know the color is different but that would be ok.

I think it will, but I know there are compatibility differences year to year on these shift knobs. I feel like you can use the -1998 style like this on the newer cars, but not the other way around. I would look around on Swedespeed, I know there have been a handful of discussions over the years. I'll also take a look.

There are variations in both year and trim line

I’ve got,the incredibly rare one piece T5 Leather wrapped , embossed 5 speed shift knob. Haven’t seen one anywhere for sale

Looking in VIDA, there were a handful of options for shift knobs. I would love a leather one for mine, but they really are impossible to find!

Every now and again stuff like that will appear in the Swedespeed classifieds. There are a few guys over there who find the crazy rare stuff from Sweden.
