I had all albums including that weird tintin in russia i think it was called, the very first album.
When I separated from my ex gf i found the albums. I sold them together with a bunch of other things for $10 🤯🥺
714 for Sidney had one of Tintin's archenemys Mr. Rastapoupolos in it right?

Yes, Rastapoupolos with the big nose 😂

I loved that book as a kid. Cool jet airplane, mysterious island, lava, and a UFO at the end!

I have all the books except Tintin in Russia and one other. My son is now reading and appreciating the same books that I read.

Great books. Really regret I sold them for almost nothing 😪

I vaguely remember the name Tintin. Perhaps because it rhymes with Chim Chim. The Tintin cartoons on Youtube are kind of like a mystery novel with lots of intrigue. In the first video I found Tintin gets shot right in the beginning of the story. Like Kung Fu movies though he's get right back up after a night in the hospital.

Think TinTin is more well known in Europe. My wife didn't even know who TinTin was when I asked her.

Nobody in the US knows of him. Spielberg's 2011 movie didn't do much to change that, surprisingly. I only know about him because my family and I lived in Brussels in the 70s.

She is the best of three breeds...

Shepard - for watching out for the pack

Lab - for the social side and total unflappability

Husky - for the smarts and the Sharp, single alarm bark - only used for real alarms

Nickname - the Atomic Dog - so called becuase an A bomb could go off next to her and she wouldnt stir. When she stood between a chair and couch, the cats would use her a bridge, walking on her back to get from one to the other. and she just stood there until they were off.
