Selling my 2005 V70R automatic. Grey/Nordkap $2000 firm. Ames Iowa.

Runs great but has 2 major issues:
1) Anti Skid Service: Likely the diff module is bad. AWD inop now (FWD is fine). ABS working fine.
2) Power System Service Urgent: CEM module is water-compromised. Charging system is fine. Brake lights stay on all the time.

Some notes to help clarify pictures:

•Sheetmetal is all good. Very minor chips and door dings if at all. I compounded it 2x and waxed 4-5x while I’ve owned it.

•There’s a IPD heavy duty skid plate installed

•No leaks I’m aware of

•Last year, the upper radiator hose blew off- there’s a thread about this happening with aftermarket radiators- I replaced the upper hose, all the coolant, and the overflow cap. I haven’t driven it much since that happened, so there’s still a smell of coolant in the engine compartment where the coolant pooled. We checked for combustion gases as a precaution- none found. There’s a flange on the rad that needs trimmed for the hose clamp to have proper grab- I did that and it’s been fine.

•There’s a little black screw thru the gas flap holding the gas cap retainer in place. The gas flap lock is inop and removed. The hinge is NEW.

•Hella horns are new

•Tailgate shocks are new

•Pair of new 4C rear shocks included, not installed.

•R/F 4C shock has an error code per VIDA

•I replaced the original auto-dim rear view mirror with a manual one- I hate the level of dimming on those. The original auto-dim is in the car as needed.

•The sunroof does not work. The switch is disconnected, but it never worked for me at all. It does not leak.

•The lower 4 stacked tires in the picture are the Conti’s that go with the car. There are a set of BLizzak snows on it now. The contis are 75% and the Blizzaks 70% or so.

•I added angle iron to the “drooping lip” front splitter. It’s solid, but far from perfect

•The RF headlight has condensation in it.

•Engine/trans runs great. No slippage or hard shifting I’ve noticed. Note: I have not driven it hard, just fast.

•There’s a slight clunk once in a while on shifting into reverse. Every AWD Volvo I’ve ever owned does this. I’m told its a u-joint on the driveshaft, but unsure if it gets worse with time? It’s been the same all the time I’ve owned this one. Denver Driveshaft will rebuild them, btw.

•I have a bunch of service records from previous owner. BIG money was spent on this car in the last 4 years.

• Interior: You can see I didn’t detail it or anything. I have 2 dogs we take to the woods in it, hence the back seat looking dirty. All the leather is good, and no tears in the seats. The RF seat lower cushion has a weird texture whereI think it got wet when the window was left open in a rainstorm- its fine, but a little rough compared to the rest of the seat.

•The LF lower trim panel is off right now (it’s in the pics), but undamaged. The rear tow hook cover is a replacement and isn’t painted to match.

• Owners manual/books seem to be complete

•2 keys, both start the car and open doors. No fobs/remotes, just plain keys.

•Clear Iowa title in-hand. I'll give you title and bill of sale showing full purchase price.

•$2000 cash takes it. No negotiation. As-is. Cash only. I'd trade even up for a V50 in good shape.
