Hello...
Beeing 68 with grey hair and Im soon going bald over this issue.
Because my XC90 sounds like anold wooden ship tied to a boardwalk.
It´s sounding worse when it´s cold going on a bad road or bumps.
Not a metal sound at all.
Doing this and that on my car and Im now into changing the
bushing on the subframe front.
It should be no problemo at all if it wasnt for the partnumbers and
what goes where.
At one partnumber site... both the front bushings and the rear
left is the same. But the right rear are of a different kind.
At annother site they only mention the 2 in the front as same.
Took a look under my car and did see that the 2 in the front
+ the left rear are black rubber. But the right rear are grey
or original maybe white.
Must I pull down the washer on each bushing and hope to find
a partnumber on the rubber bushing - or what ?
The black bushings on my XC90 is cracked and look terrible.
The grey one looks Okey. Have no knowledge if that one has been
changed earlier or just is in good shape.
I dont know what parts to order.

Take a look to see there is a consensus in terms matching part number to brands. Perhaps some have newer part numbers.
