Sunroof Molding Replacement 95 Volvo 940

I've been needing to replace the molding around my 95 Volvo 940 sunroof for some time. However, the original molding that went around the glass of the sunroof (Volvo Part number 9154972) was no longer available for purchase. I bought several that I thought would be a suitable substitute only to find that they were too small. I finally found a good replacement for the original at McMaster-Carr (Part Number 1120A75, available for purchase by the foot.). Upon receipt, I removed the sunroof and the old moldings. Cleaned the old cement from the glass and wiped it down well with alcohol. I then applied a bead of good, strong (like a Gorilla) silicone around the edge of the sunroof, installing the new molding as I went. I then let it cure for 24 hours before reinstalling the sunroof into the car. It was a perfect fit and looks wonderful.
