Good place for some rims ?
Hello all. I got a V70 2.4T and i’ve had the same factory rims ever since the car came out. I’ve tried buying some rims but they didn’t fit mine. (If you want them i can send you the facebook ad. They are practically brand new , fitting all s40s models.) Any good place to just finding some new rims ?

Right near you in Utica is Erie VoVo , just off the Thruway.
They are a Volvo specific junkyard and would be a great stop for alloys

I think you can buy new wheels from IPD.
Personally I don’t drive a 15 year old car because I like shiny things, but wheels do occasionally stop sealing due erosion of the clear coat or they get bent and need to be replaced.
I’ve bought several sets of old wheels on my local Craigslist, usually for mounting winter tires. I typically ID the wheels visually on https://volvo-wheels.com/ to see which models they were originally mounted on, and then I compare the measurements of the original model and my car at https://www.wheel-size.com. For my ‘07 I opted to replace the TPMS sensors rather than look at the dash light.
For my Volvos there are generally plenty of wheels to chose from so I shoot for an exact match, but I purchased a set of steel winter wheels for my minivan that have an oversized centerbore. They seem to roll just fine since they also use conical lug bolts for centering.
