Buzzing coming from the dash of my 2011 S80

My 2011 S80 has 124,000 miles and still enjoy driving it very much! I just noticed in the past week a buzzing coming from the top center portion of the dashboard, just above and behind the radio display panel. It is a very clear buzzing (sounds just like a pager or phone set to "vibrate") that sounds for about six seconds, then silent for about 12 seconds then repeats. It makes the sound anytime the car is running. I have powered the radio off and I have powered the A/C system off and it continues to make the sound. I'd rather not start tearing my dash apart yet - anybody got any ideas? (No, we haven't lost a phone or a pager!) Thanks!

With no replies, I'm going to schedule the car into the local dealer to check it out. Thanks to all who read and were as confused as I am, and I will report back once I find the cause!

Sorry to resurrect my post after such a long time! Source of the noise has been found (although not yet fixed!) In the past I had a bad habit of storing my parking receipts or cleaning tickets in the CD player - not far enough to be pulled in, but easily to be seen and remembered. Oops! On at least one occasion I must have inserted it a bit too far and it was pulled inside. I can't see inside the CD slot to confirm it or to remove it, but I have been able to verify that the sound is the CD player trying to pull a CD in. If I change the radio to CD mode (which I never do because I never play CDs!) the display tells me that is what is going on. I tried putting a CD in, but it would not stay in. The noise is still obnoxious, but I don't know that there is a resolution other than disassembly or replacing the CD player. Stupid me! I learned my lesson! Any suggestions welcome.
