parking sensor assist

Hello

I have a notification about the parking sensor assist service

the back bumper has all the sensors.
the local garage said there is front sensors missing . the bumper has no place for the sensors.
it a new car that i got it might have had a front bumper replaced . its s80 2011 . is there a way to know if the front sensors were there ? also how to know if it were 2 or 4 sensors ? and which wiring and sensor codes should i get to replace them if this will resolve the issue.

If the car has park assist and the bumper cover has been replaced the wiring should still be there. It looks like the last six digits of your VIN number are needed to determine the Volvo part number for the front sensors.

I got the car lifted and checked the wiring

The wire number there is 30773681
Vin 1142204

One person informed me this vin number does not correspond to the wiring ! So i am confused and not sure

The computer check gives faulty signal in 4 front sensors

I does not match Chassis number 142204. 30773681 is for Chassis -065722 with headlight washing.

The correct harness for Chassis number 142204 is 31296350 for Park Assist, 31260293 for Park Assist and Headlight washing.
One Park Assist sensor 31341345.

So i should ignore what is on the car and get from the codes you mentioned
The car has headlight washers but also not working

I shoild also get 4 sensors

Any other wires i should get ? A new module?

Get the control module part number and make sure it is for your car. It is not looking like it is correct.

So far it looks like you need harness 31296350 ~$40.00. One sensor 31341345 ~$75.00 for Genuine Volvo as Low as $13.00 for aftermarket. But hold off ordering anything until you check out the control module. It sure does look like somebody replace some stuff on the front without paying attention to details.

Module number 31314525

I will double check that number as well

The harness will go all the way from module to the front . And will connect to the sensors and washer . It will not need extra plugs or wiring right ?

Part Number: 31341090 Supersession(s): 31314525. You got the older one.

What gets me is your diagnostics software is calling for four sensors by VIDA indicates you should have only one sensor. Could it be that 31314525 is four sensors and 31341090 is for one. You got to get the right harness for each configuration.

....... where did you get the number 1142204?

Hi this is from car liscence

The car is 2011 so maybe it had the old module number

What do you suggest buy a new module with new number and get harness and sensors ?
