Climate Control (Electronic Version)

Post by fred2000orland »

On my 1999 V70 every time i switch the ignition to position 2 fuse 31 blows. With the fan and resistor disconnected the climate controls all function OK along with the mode control motor and the recirculation motor. I have removed the heater fan and it functions fine with a direct 12V supply, no bearing play etc. Has any body got any ideas. Is it the resistor? If so does anyone know the value for checking across the terminals with a Fluke?
