Volvo 240 poor power

I have a 92 240 gl, that's been running poorly. Idles wonderfully but anytime I put a load on it, say shift to 3-5th gear the car just loses power. Sounds like it's giving it all its got and has a terribly jittery acceleration. The entire fuel system was over hauled a year ago and this has just all of a sudden started. Zero codes come up in the diagnostic and my ignition system is good too. The only notable thing is when the motor is cold pure gas runs out the exhaust

Do a compression test. Leaking exhaust valves will let raw gas pass.
Did you use good quality injectors when you did the fuel system rebuild? Leaking injectors would dump raw gas in the cylinders.
Fuel pressure regulator?
Air filter clean?
ECT sensor?

Just did a compression test Rick, and cylinder 2 is at 161 psi while all the others are in the low 180s range

Do you have a way you can watch the vacuum and ignition timing while it is accelerating? That may be enlightening. First check the vacuum hose to the ignition module, if it has a hose.
