| My husband and I are considering purchasing a 1995 850 GLT wagon with 66,000 miles as our family car for about $10,000. The car appears to be in great shape with only a few "minor" problems--the breaks squeak, the rear hatch won't stay open if parked on a hill and also the rear hatch rattles when closed. Well, when I went online to do some research on this model I became very concerned about purchasing an 850 or any Volvo for that matter. Based on the websites/postings I've seen, they seem to have too many problems (A/C, electrical, etc). Does anyone have any advice for us? Are Volvo's that bad???? Thanks!! |
