Mine looked like it was leaking from there as well, and changing the lower oil return line seal seems to have fixed most of the leak. Couldnt find an engine for my V70, so I bought a parts car.
Kinda liked how comfortable on the way home and it's nicely specced (red C70 LPT auto with the fancy audio stuff, sunroof...), now I dont wanna part it out.

Engine's out of the C70, not without a good amount of swearing. The black/brown connectors are ISO connectors for head units, the standard for aftermarket stuff.
So these are probably adapters to fit an aftermarket head unit
