Re: Getting jitter in the steering wheel after flushing the power steering fluid
I am almost certain that you are correct, you still have air in the system (don’t ask why I am so confident). It should eventually work its way out but it may take quite some time. What I did was lift the drive wheels off the ground and then turn the wheel from lock to lock. It will still take a lot...

Re: Question about IPD control arms?
I was faced with the same dilemma 8+ years and around 90K miles ago. l went with IPD controls arms and end links. The control arms held up well but one bushing was very slightly torn, so I pressed in new bushings before inspection at 220K miles. IPD’s endlinks are very difficult to counter hold so I...

Re: Turn Signal Issue
I would pull the lamps and either replace them or clean the contact surfaces with a pencil eraser (both the lamp and the mating socket). This frequently solves problems like this.

Re: Oil leaking from Filler Cap
IPD sells a Viton neoprene oil cap seal. It seals better and will probably last longer than the car.
Mine was leaking, I replaced the original about 10 years ago with that one, problem solved.

Re: ETM issues after PCV replacement
First time I did the PCV service on my 2002 V70, I had almost identical symptoms. Turns out I was a fit ham fisted when I reinstalled the cleaned out TCM. I had bent a pin and the throttle module was not communicating properly. I thought I was really s####ed but after straightening the pins all was ...

Re: ETM issues after PCV replacement
Although not exactly accurate here, it does feel good when someone can benefit from my mistakes. Thanks for the update.
No way, I could afford my V70 without this site. Thank you Matthew.

Re: Vehicle does not recognize key fobs
I should know soon. I scheduled an appointment at the dealership for this coming Monday morning. Of course I will update.
