Re: Volvo OEM Original Coil # differences

Volvo does like to use parts number supersessions - so many fitting parts have multiple numbers associated with them

When I did the first pass at the axle part number tabulation, 1996 alone had 15 part numbers for axles.

Re: Front grille question

Forgot to mention, all grilles will fit all of the p80's so do not limit yourself to just a C70 one. You can pick a v70 or s70 as well.

You can verify this on here:

Re: Front grille question

1998-2002 should be waterfall grille like 1998-2000 "other" P80s, Eggcrate was a 2003-4 thing And XCs. Note the comments about the badge. Any 1998-2000 Base, GLT, AWD, or T5 will do, or 1998-2002 C70. All over the junkyards. Find the weight, check shipping from 32547 and I'll give you one....

Re: ETS Light flashes on when hitting bumps

Try putting vida on it and wiggle the wires going to the etm if you haven't already. It's obviously a short somewhere if this happens only over bumps. I25? Sounds like you're in Colorado?

Yay, persistence pays off. Glad you stuck with it and found both cures. Hope you get to enjoy your car for a while.
