I'd guess that they are for the halo rings, but that's just a guess. How are they supposed to work ? Parking, halo, low beam, high beam ?

I'm running the Koni Street Active's and I'm very happy with them. As I recall, I bought the shocks from FCP, and the struts from Jeggs.

No cap on the interior end. Just Take a wire and fish it through. It's quite easy you'll find.
When I was done running wires through mine, I left an extra wire loose in there for pulling any future wire(s).

I had 0 problems doing that. Sprayed them the night before with PBBlaster. I think a couple of the studs came out, but I just cleaned them up and reinstalled. Checked 1K later and no problems.

Chased similar problem before finding out that my intercooler had a crack, so yes they do fail. Particularly the stock unit with the plastic tank. It took a smoke test to find it.

We're not building rocket ships here. Tight enough, but not too tight, is perfect. And keep in mind that torque values are written based on new bolts threading into new threads, in a factory setting where the vehicle has yet to go through even one hot / cold cycle.
