No. Actually the message did dissapear for few months. It reappeared after cleaning the car interior - could be something moisture related.

thanks for all replies, it ended up that there was no spark, upon further inspection it was a loose ground on the coil wires.

AS an update, the codes I noted above went away and the reason for the crank no start turned out to be the fuel pump module which I finally locate on the bottom of the car in front of the rear passenger wheel well.Turns out I still have codes for the catalytic convertor, so that will be next.

It is a pretty simple circuit. Check your inputs and connections. Are you getting a signal from the ECM?
