- IPD has the correct clamp.
- local muffler shop can find a piece of rebar and weld it.

Yeah, the S60s do suck for this.
I did my v70 from underneath with zip ties, rotating the clutch so that each leaf was forward to work on it

You don’t need to remove the whole liner, just fold the bAck the front piece.

Just careful as the upper liner clips at the fender are pretty annoying and may damage the paint if forced. The liner itself is quite stubborn to put back on those two small studs

I think you know the answer. If you have a difficult time turning it the window motor will have the same issue. It shouldn't be butter easy, but it shouldn't be you need a channel lock and serious force. Window motors are pretty big and have some serious gears - they can crank out some torque (nice ...

shouldn't be an issue, you need the switches connected and have power anyway to diagnose and fix the issue. Access to the sliders to grease them is impossible without powering it to move up and down.
