Oh yeah!, oh yeah!, oh yeah!..... All fixed £12 cost and hours of searching for a problem... It was a failed REM.
Got one from breakers for £12 plug and played. This little box has a lot to answer for!

The repair was finished after finding fuel safe silicon fuel hose to use as the pipe joiner.. This has worked perfectly and the car sails through mot inspection... I used cv boot clips to secure the pipe in place and it looks intentional and factory standard.. No leaks and it is still holding strong..
