Re: Plug color
I decided to look at my plugs today - this is what I found. Not sure about this color......I'm used to white or black typically. I'd think major head gasket leak, but fresh engine and no signs of coolant issues ( exhaust vapor/smell, drop in coolant level ) so I'm at a loss. IMG_20220529_123829690....

Re: clutch,who makes best?
Haven't fitted a manual clutch in 40 years! Back then it was only Sachs for Volvos. Who knows where they are made these days and if any parts quality are what they were. Borg and Beck were also good. Do Luk exist still? This UK supplier has Sachs and Luk: https://www.onlinecarparts.co.uk/car-brands...

Re: my volvo 850se journal

Stainless self tapper bolts are the way to go. Those studs are useless as they rust until the diameter no long...

Re: What did you do to your Volvo today?

Re: What did you do to your Volvo today?
Happy 900th page! i did use her brand new oven for heating reluctor rings,,,,,, How did you get the ring out and to the axle fast enough before it contracted? I used a MiniDuctor inductive heating device on my reluctor ring, then very quickly moved it to the axle and pushed it in place. So s...
