Re: Late P80 power steering fluid - Not listed on parts sites?
Napacanada still stocks CHF11S at 62$ cad per L in Berta. Volvo of Toronto was around 45$ per L if i recalled. When i flushed my P80 recently I pulled something out of the Honda Handbook. Put the car up on stands, connected the reservoir low pressure return to a plastic line and put that into the bu...

Re: Replacing REAR subframe trailing arm bushings
Basically the rear of the car shift laterally when the rear tires goes over bumps, potholes and especially longitudinal grooves, feeling like the car is pushed sideways and the steering wheel may even shift a bit. The rear would also sort of see-saw vertically with respect to the center of the car. ...

Re: XC70 Ocean Race Edition
I see this same phenomenon but with 850 Platinums... sellers will post a white 850 and call it Platinum. They're not trying to deceive anyone, they just don't know. I know this because the comment section will explain it and they typically say "I didn't know, thank you," etc.

Re: 1998 V70 NA RMS rear main seal - pull engine? Anything else while there?

Re: Brakes problem, lots of parts changed
it might be air in the abs system, it requires cycling the abs valves as the calipers are being bled.
vida or a good scanner tool is required to do this.
once the air is pushed out of the abd valves the calipers have to be bled at each wheel to remove the air from the system.

Re: Coolant loss and overheating.
It can depend on the type of thermostat fitted. Several aftermarket ones do not have the little jiggle bypass so if they stick shut they will cause an overheat quickly. I agree with Oro, I would suggest starting with the thermostat. If that does not fix it, even after fitting a new radiator, I would...

Re: 2007 XC-70 front brake job pad too tight?
Dear Matthews, I did a front rotor and pad job on my 2007 Volvo XC-70 yesterday and I ran into an issue I have never experienced in prior brake jobs on this car. I was using Akebono pads. Passenger side went fine. But the driver's side outside brake pad would not fit in the caliper. It was very clo...
