Last year the original fuel pump started to wine, so I replaced the pump with a new one made by Bosch, same as the original one. Unfortunately, it did not solve my problem with winning/howling ...

Both front control arms. What a PITA that is on a 2006 S60... Done without removing the knuckle. Used a jack to lift the knuckle so as to not overstretch the new control arm bushing when getting that ball joint stud through the hole. Still, a royal PITA. Next time I'll do it by taking out the knuck...

in boston you can try autozone for their free rental tools, i did my truck wheel bearings with their press.
They have a poster on the counter top showing which tools they have for loan.

"M" and "I" notches ? what is the 12 position.? Last time I changed the belt I locked the cam sprockets, released the tensioner, slipped the old belt off and slipped new one in place, done. You don't need to do everything in this video if you aren't changing the cam oil seals. ht...

did you rotate the engine twice by hand before trying to start it?
