Re: Would it be possible to clear out a gummed up PCV instead of replacement?
OP is talking about blowing out the PCV without taking everything apart OP - It’s really not feasible. The hoses need to be replaced. It’s not just a matter of plugging but the hoses harden and crack. And the crud that blocks the passages is very hard. Especially at the connection on the bottom of t...

Re: '02 v70 ATF (To change or not to change)
This video explains the issues you are dealing with very well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o690DovjDAc My advice: DO NOT use "Multi-Vehicle ATF" - Instead use the fluid that is SPECIFIC to the transmission. All my Volvos have an AISIN Transmission - and I use AISIN ATF specific to thei...

Re: What did you do to your P2 Volvo today?
Installed a 150 watt oil pan heater and also checked that my block heater is working in preparation for winter. This car lives outside year round and although it will start in -30 with no supplemental heat, it breaks my heart to have to do it. I bought this heater at Fleet Farm for 35 bucks. It look...

Re: This is how you sell part lots or part out a car on an internet Forum..
I’m a moderator on a forum. Top pet peeves: 1. Posts for sale and immediately leaves forum to not return for 6 months. 2. Not updating sold items resulting in multiple “sorry that is sold” replies. 3. No details of what part number is or what it fits. 4. Priced way above market. 5. “ Accepting offe...
