Re: What did you do to your P2 Volvo today?

In your opinion better to stick with lower calcium oils in our higher mileage 5 cylinders? In my opinion I threw out hundreds of dollars on boutique oils ;) I took apart another 2.5T engine, from a road worthy car with similar mileage, it had three times the wear compared to my engine, but it was s...

Re: Volvo XC90 2003 - AntiSkid fix w/o Yaw reman

VIDA and a DICE will do this. A number of years ago I did not wait long enough after shutting the vehicle down before disconnecting the battery and somehow came up with an invalid sum value in the yaw sensor which required a recalibration. I love that the Service Schedule II is clearly spelled out in VIDA. It is an easier engine space to work on; and fewer items than 2.5. Here is my progres...

Re: Mandated “Kill Switches”

Taking this " sci-fi " thread a little further - We all end up in self-driving cars, that are all made by the same manufacture, that never go faster than what some bureaucratic entity decides is appropriate, and can be effectively seized by the " authorities " for violations. But...

Re: MVS Contributors - ads, ugh!

Ooof. Inundated with banner ads in every post. It’s creepy how they follow your content reading. Next time I meet someone working for google I’m going to follow them from a one foot distance looking over their shoulder, then ask them how they like that.
