Re: XC90 T8 2017 sensor location
I went to Volvo oem parts and put 2017xc90 t8 in search. Them emissions system. Search came back for 3 o2 sensors. They were upper, mid and rear. 2 variants of rear sensor based on spec code were offered as well. I assume the rearmost sensor is your sensor 3. https://volvo.oempartsonline.com/v-2017-...

Re: No start on 1973 144E after restoring engine compartment.
Please make a photo of that you have under the hood. I belive it should be D-jetronic(I only once worked on this car and it was close to 20 years ago). However diferent cars can be equipped with K-jetronic or KE-Jetronic system. When the last time this car was running? Was it running fine? What was ...

Re: XC90 T8 2017 sensor location
Not sure. Would be great to figure out the wires which are responsible for heater element. You would be then able to check resistance between those 2 wires and if OL- totally your customer with broken heater element. Unfortunately it looks like those new sensors are 5 wires and I am not sure what th...

Re: 04 XC70 crank no start conditon
Your problem is not simple. It is hard for someone to follow along without making notes and seeing diagram. I doubt you will find answer here since someone will have to invest significant amount of time to figure it out. I see 2 possible ways moving ahead: 1) tow to the dealer and pay for diagnostic...

Re: car won't start. - 2009 - S60
Lets concentrate on the bright side- it works. At this point it is not important what and how it happened. Make sure you change your engine oil after all those starting attempts(it is likely full of fuel). After oil change, take it for a good roadtrip.

Re: Running issue 2008 Volvo XC70 3.2 230K miles
Is your sound better with pulling dip stick up?
Hard to suggest something without having audio/video clip. But pcv diaphragm on 3.2 is a common problem.

Re: Advice? Rear coil spring repair
"We keep them in stock" was the answer of part department manager at my Volvo dealer when I had this issue 3 month ago. Basically it is a very common thing that fails. Question: are you able to work on your car(meaning place, health, time)? If the answer is "yes" and you have bas...

Re: No power below 2500 rpm - 2017 XC90 T6 Polestar
Most likely problem- supercharger clutch is done. They are lasting about 90-120k depending on how you drive. 2nd possibility is problem with control side of electromagnetic clutch. However this would likely generate a CEL. If I remember correctly, dealer price for supercharger job would be 4800-5500...

Re: 02 s80 2.9 twin, oil leaking
Usual suspect would be turbo oil return line. O-ring at the bottom cant last forever and needs periodic replacement. Never done it on 2.9, but cant imagine it being much "fun". Parts are probably $10, but without lift it is an interesting journey from above relying on your dexterity and pr...

Re: Steering shaft link - telescope or not?
It is around $110. Please only buy Original volvo shaft. Not pro parts Sweden(PPS) My shaft from PPS lasted 3k and developed "clunking" at lower connection. Better also buy new oem bolt ($8 i think i paid)for lower connection(they are one time use, lot of people will disagree here). I dont...
