Re: The XC70 is back, but there's a catch
Funny, people complained about American Land Yachts of the 60's and 70's - big bloated heavy long cars and wagons. Tons of room for families and vacations. Almost always big or excessively big engines, an offshoot of the muscle car era to make them more palatable to macho buyers. That era passed lon...

Re: XC70 throw ECM-671C after replacing camshaft position sensor
So moral of the story-electronic parts from PPS are junk that were costing you at least 10 hours and a full "swear jar". It is quite possible. However, I cannot rule out some minimal mistiming. I also had a bad experience no far ago with the VVT solenoid. I replace the failing one with a ...

Re: $200 2000 Volvo V70XC
Compression test won’t tell you if it’s a bad head gasket necessarily, but if it’s good then valves are in good shape. With an unknown engine there is not really a good path other than running it for a bit then pulling plugs and look for steam cleaning

Re: 2006 XC90 4.4 v8 passenger seat belt removal from seat
Seat Side- Seatbelt XC90_1.jpg Body Side- Seatbelt XC90_2.jpg Cover comes off with a Torx T15, if it's original you'll need to cut a tie-wrap on the seat. These break all the time, progressive flex crack as your butt slides onto and off the seat. Can see here for PNs if you need a replacement- https...

Re: 2006 S60 2.5T AWD Parking Brake? Problem
Heres how it went for me, I figured its a 90 minute job. Jack the car up, forgot to break the lug bolts loose, lower the car again, got the bolts loose, jack the car up, place on jackstands, the wheel won't come off. Lower the car again and put the lugs in finger tight, drive the car back and forth...
