Re: What did you do to your Volvo today?
Pulled some premium rear deck speakers from a s60. The brackets are mostly the same except for the tweeter piece and left is right and right is left to match up the mounting holes and it won’t fit correctly with the trunk hinge there. The cover doesn’t fit exactly as the tweeter is covered by the ce...

Re: 98 s70. What is this coolant hose clamp and how do I remove it
I need to get a better look at it but I could have sworn there was no nut. Which doesn’t make much sense with the rest of the clamp. But it looked like what you would turn is one piece. It might just be dirty and needs a little elbow grease. But I’ve never seen this type of clamp elsewhere so it’s m...

Re: What did you do to your Volvo today?
Replaced some vac lines. Couldn’t find good pictures of the intake to fuel pressure regulator line so here ya go if it helps. Helps to take the box out and lift the intake tube to access the nipple

Re: Multiple misfires cylinders 1&3 98 s70 t5
I tried searching the problem on the forums too and see a bunch of people who had similar issues but no ones really resolved it.
But from what I can gather it’s a burnt up or broken valve that needs attention so I’ll keep that in mind when checking everything.

Re: Parting out cars online etc or just send them to the junkyard?
My first car was a 740. The heat never worked but the heated seats still did. A little to well you’d have to crack the sunroof to regulate the temp in winter. Looking at some other older threads some people claim that the wiring should be there under the seats. At least on the passenger side it look...

Mythical 850 rear heated seats
Finally got the heated rears pulled. Figured I’d put up a quick thread with some pics and info that I put together during the process I may have screwed up cutting out the 12v wiring but I read multiple times that a majority of the cars are at least pre wired. If not the wiring diagram is attached a...

Re: 1997 S70 'Red' Turbo Vacuum Line
When I fixed mine I ended up cutting the line to where it was less brittle and splicing it as a temp fix. Then I blew an exhaust valve and never fixed it permanently
