Re: immobilizer on 96 EU models
Untill s,v70 hit the EU market in '97....850s need immo box (with same part # as old one)with matching chipped keys. Ecu isn't coded but it will seek for "green light" from immo box. Chipped key transfers a code via antenna ring and sends it to immo box. Then...immo box sends "green l...

Re: Transmission codes
Doesn't matter as long as it's correct for your car.
Usually the "T" number is matching with production year of a car.

Re: MVS Buddy Project
Well I've never seen that light, but it's the Lambda symbol, so I'm guessing something to do with O2 system. And that hose might belong on your vacuum tree. It kind of looks like you have an open port on it in the picture pointing at the idle air control hose, but hard to tell. And the idle air con...

Re: MVS Buddy Project
LH Jetronic management should have EGR. Mine is M 4.4. That actuator which is near distributor on your car is at fan shroud on mine and it's part of SAS system which your car doesn't have . No.13 on that diagram should be EGR...actuator(i.e square cube) should be electronic control for the EGR and t...

Re: MVS Buddy Project
So. I've found this part ("C") Secondary Air System Control Solenoid Air Pump Valve Sas on the diagram upper, from it I have a hose that links "22" on the diagram, and I have to find where this cruise control vacuum servo is located ? : Capture d’écran 2022-11-27 à 21.12.48.jpg ...

Re: 850 1995 Exhasut emission control

Re: 850 Mass Air Flow
Check your part # on old Maf.
It isn't the same for Jetronic and Motronic managements!
The one you listed...Bosch 0 280 217 107 is for Motronic 4.3 & 4.4 managements.
Your car should have old style and different part # Maf.They are NOT interchangeable.
O2 sensors are different too.

Re: 850 Mass Air Flow
Sensors are not interchangeable.
They use different method to measure the air flow...hot film vs.thermistor if i recall correctly.
Different voltage output.

Re: 850 1995 Idling up and down
Do not unplug the connector while engine is running! Remove connector, start the engine. If the idle is stable and runs better with Maf unplugged than it is bad. In your case....since you did a pcv job recently...i would check if there is a vacuum leak somewhere. Pcv valve, intake manifold, vacuum tree...
