Re: The Resurrection of (10/1998 to 01/2021 )Elizabeth 1999 V70T5M56 Cylinder Head Job
What Neil said - the compression test is just for checking cylinder health. Won't give you any clues on the valve stem seals but sounds like you have a handle on them already. Will only tell you about valves if one is really bad - you'd know already.

Warmer engine is better but you can do both and compare. It may give you a read on the piston ring condition or bore wear. Argument for not doing when engine is cold is engine is harder to turn over and may not give consistent results

Re: 850 T5 - Running issues post fuel-pump replacement
Pulled the Walbro out before giving it the two fingered salute, and stuck a Bosch in. All works perfectly now, nice to see Made in the USA still carries the same heft it used to. It is borderline infuriating that I spent a over a week of evenings trialing everything bar the pump, only to find out it...

Re: Intake manifold gasket
I don't know which is which i.e. who us wrong, but I can tell you the key is the shape of the ports on the IM. If your manifold has the little notch at the top of each port, get 9146266. If the ports are smooth with no notch then you want 1275055. You can tell by just opening the hood and looking in...
