Re: It's time to start bulking up on 850s
It says invalid file extension on all 3 of those extensions. If I really start modeling more parts, I may have to make an account of thingiverse and just link my projects here. Some of these files can get quite large. Sorry about that. I put those into a group, but didn't make the group "allow...

Re: Hosting 3D models of Volvo parts on MVS

But many have to be high strength, or even forged, to do their job. Or you print a plastic part with th...

Re: New MVS t-shirts are in!
While I have very low confidence in the Mail Carrier here, the steam-driven Postal Service managed to get the package to DE intact, and he managed to actually get it in the mailbox without damaging package or box. Neither of those things are a given.
Thanks Matthew, well done.

Re: exhaust reset valve E614 or E611
I have a 2007 XC70 with 170K miles on it. Last week, I started getting intermittent and E614 error and then also E611, both exhaust and intake selenoid errors. I decided to replace the camshaft position sensor as a first step. While in the process of removing the camshaft position sensor, I discover...

Re: It's time to start bulking up on 850s
This is something I worked on several years ago - a custom cold air intake for my 850 Turbo. I built the original input model in cardboard to verify fit, then a nicer one out of black foamcore, then built it digitally in Rhino. I even made a presentation panel for it. I haven't messed with it in yea...

Re: Rotors 286 / 305 / 320 at FCP
Yep, my XC wagon has 286 rotors. FCP tells me all three sizes were used that year, depending on the options the VIN tells you.
So I went with the Zimmermann rotors + Akebono pads, along with new front hoses. FCP sale!
