1999 S70NA Manual Climate Control MCC 3524842 9171601 Cable attachment

My passenger temp control was not regulating, reaching around the dash, I could feel the cable had popped off the MCC gudgeon, so I went to work Unlike an ECC controller, the MCC controller is removed by unscrewing the rear part (the part you see) from the console frame, then unclipping the FRONT pa...

Re: We lost FCP as a sponsor

This is very sad. I love FCP, but recently their parts catalogue and customer service has been lacking. On the other hand, I just discovered eEuroparts now offers a limited lifetime replacement on parts bought through them, so I may be giving them more business from now on.

Re: We lost FCP as a sponsor

what does "limited" mean? sorry about FCP. They must know something, like that people are over Volvo. Everything is BMW in the foreign DIY. It wont be long until most parts are NA for the older cars, and not needed for the newer ones since nobody can fix them except dealer under warranty. ...

Re: We lost FCP as a sponsor

Well, it's up to you who to buy... I buy from most all of them...recently, several hundred bucks from FCP. DIYers tends to be generational, with newest generation looking for "plug-n-play" These older Volvos are fewer and far between, so I'm sure 940s/240s/etc are not part sellers for the...

Re: We lost FCP as a sponsor

Try to send my parts purchase elsewhere Matt. I have become almost a total IPD buyer anyway. I cannot say enough good about IPD, anytime I have an issue at all, or need help finding a part, they help quickly. Europarts is good, but the shipping costs are not so good, I have not tried Volvo Wholesale...

Re: POLL: How did you buy from FCP?

I voted bookmark. If they used clickthrough as there capture metric, add $3000 if business a year to the metric driven by their sponsorship here, please Jason.

Re: POLL: How did you buy from FCP?

Should allow multiple options. I had to click other. I have bought off a link in a post, off a banner, off a bookmark in my browser and by typing directly in the browser bar. But ALL of those purchases were made because of recommendations for FCP quality and service I heard here on MVS.

Re: POLL: How did you buy from FCP?

Matt -- I am guessing this thread arose from a discussion I had with Steve the other day. I have been an FCP customer for at least ten and probably more like 12-15 years. I have given them literally tens of thousands in business over the years. I rarely, if ever purchased from FCP through a Matthew'...

Re: POLL: How did you buy from FCP?

I'm pretty sure MVS is where I first heard about FCP also. I'm not sure the click through the link 'procedure' is the best way to approach this. But I'm at a loss for any other way to do it. FCP doesn't have a 'where did your hear about us' field during checkout that I've ever noticed. I can't say h...
