A low battery in these cars will cause all kinds of weirdness. In cold country , replacing it every 5 years is prudent.
If the car sits for more than a week, get a one amp trickle charge and plug it in, too.

thats cool but for tail lights dont use a load resistor for canbus it defeats the purpose of using LEDs.
