Just one point to add to what Mike has written, disconnect the battery negative wire before you disconnect/ remove the aircon control panel otherwise if you pop the key in without the panel connected the car will throw an airbag fault which requires a main dealer reset unless you have or know someon...

Are you checking fluid levels with the engine still running, if not it will over read as the oil contained in the torque converter runs out back in to the sump when the engine is off giving a false high reading - Mike

Tig, If you get a PCV kit from Volvo it will contain everything you need including hoses and those clips that you tension with special pliers (Oetiker clamps - speeling probably wrong) I prefer to use Stainless Steel worm drive/ Jubilee clamps depending upon which side of the "pond" you li...
