Vida has a calibration technique built in to the software for this problem. The module may be DDM (driver door module) or PDM (passenger door module) depending on whether LHD or RHD.
Others here may know of a manual technique for calibration, especially JRL or Jimmy57.

Re: 1999 Volvo V70 (base) Quit for No Reason?
Yeah it wants to start so I'm also leaning with Ozark on the fuel issue. If no pressure at the fuel valve after depressing the valve with the end of the blue cap I would venture to take off the fuse panel (torx 25 X 4) on the driver's side of the engine bay and locate relay 103 usually it's pink or ...

Re: 2001 v70 cranks, but no spark...at all
If you get Vida/Dice we can hook you up with a couple of guys who can clone over the internet. You'll need a laptop with internet connection and a Skype or Viber account. You don't need to install the complex Vida software but you'll need to install the interface tool and have the USB drivers for it...

Re: Intake Air Temp Sensor
I have a DOHC cover from a 10 valve head and I have a spare 20 valve head. Should I try and fit it to see if I can change the unwritten Volvo god Thor's rule-set? What will become of me if it does fit? Will I be struck by lightning or worse still will Thor render all 5 of my coil packs blown? Tune i...

Re: Intake Air Temp Sensor
No way. Slightly longer. It fits along the grooves however the bolt holes don't line up and the oil filler cutout has an unsighlty gap. I might just get 1st prize for answering the most oddball question on the forum though I thought I had that nailed when I answered the blinker fluid color question.

Re: VIDA DiCE 2014D vs 2015?
You can't do software upgrades as an independent person with 2015 because it's not available to the public. Not even as a cracked version. I haven't seen it for sale anywhere. Not yet anyway. If it were available you would be back to trying to foil Volvo's security measures. From the link above prov...

Re: 2002 S60 ETM Issues (Lucky me)
As above and sitting pretty on 26 DegC today Steve :D The 8644345 and 8644344 can be reprogrammed with software for any other part number Magnetti Marelli ETM but not at the dealer as they generally won't be involved with used modules let alone ones with the wrong part number for your model year. Wi...

Re: 2006 V70D5AWD REM-DEM problems
The only thing unique to an REM is the serial number and part number (also reported in Network) The rest of the values can be programmed and updated. So even if you get one from a non AWD sedan the programming can be altered to suit your car. The software numbers reported in Network are not the orde...

Re: The Magnetti Marelli ETM. Which cars have it?
That's the latest software, xHeart. Your car won't go into limp mode. Also if you need to purchase a new throttle you can go for Volvo part number 36050563 and usually (95% chance) it will have this version of software pre-installed. You'll notice on the report that your hardware number is actually ...

Re: XC 7O brake failure/abs/loss of cluster/limp mode
Looks more like CEM than any other module. In my experience after swapping out about 6 of these there will be no physical evidence on the CEM of failure.
You can send the CEM to XeModex for checking. Look on their website for removal instructions.
