Re: 1999 S70 T5 Radiator Leak
I just installed a Nissens in the S70 yesterday, for what it's worth. Seems to be well made but I have no historical data yet.

Anniversary Trip to the Berkshires
It was our anniversary weekend and we decided to take the V70 on a trip up north to the Berskshires in MA. The car was in desperate need to stretch it's legs, and we needed to get out of the house. Lexie came along as well and enjoyed the scenery. First things first, breakfast at the American Pie Co...

Re: 96' 850 evaporator job, can't remove heater box, please help.
New problem though. I have everything disconnected from the heater box, but it won't come out. There seems to be something still connected right in the center between the left set of screws: DSC_0194.jpg It feels like I would have to yank really hard, or something would break. Re: tearing out what is left of my hair, 2000 V70 XC: P0442
Mix a Gallon of Volvo coolant and put it in the trunk. Then enjoy your trip!
The light comes on when there is still close to an inch of coolant still in the reservoir. Pleanty of time to pull over and top up.
Just make sure to open the cap very slowly to let the pressure equalize.

Re: What did you do to your Volvo today?
IMG_20210522_125645787_HDR.jpgI know that this is a Volvo forum but sometimes you have to show something that makes everyone go, Wow! And this is what interupted me changing my starter. My brother and I could not pass this up. A genuine storage find. Enjoy!IMG_20210522_130701237_HDR.jpgIMG_20210523...

Re: Proactively replace coolant tank?
I would consider cooling equipment essential. Therefore it is usually the first thing on my list of parts to replace when I buy a P80 car with unknown history.
