I tell SWMBO the story of the fuel pump I changed in a BMW with 20k on the clock. "No start, no fuel pressure, amp signature was wacky as all getup. Asked my new lead tech if he knew a secret way to change a fuel pump whitout spilling gas in the car. He said be careful... turns out the best way...

They had a good flow chart one could follow to diagnose a failing ETM: ETM Diagnostic Flow Chart.pdf Their techs are also very responsive to submitted questions and calls. Dirk and Evan are the masters of the cheap car turned bargain. Its easy to brag that you make a couple thou on a flip, but eventually you get burned. These guys find the gems and turn them into the family cars - which pay them $600 a month in no car payment. thats the smart money, not flipping.
