Looks like you might be beyond this, but in the past when I had a CD stuck in the head unit, I'd slip a piece of thin cardboard in the CD slot while hitting eject. But I don't know if that's even the issue your having.

Were the o-rings loose inside the CD changer ? They would seem to be out of place. Another member of our little tribe was having problems with a radio with the CD player, and once he got it out og the car and shook it, some coins fell out. Maybe your o-rings are the result of some child's adventure....
