Although not listed, I think it is called a fuel pulse regulator. I can only think it is a device to steady fuel flow pressure. I have attached the fuel line it is part of, however, in this case for North America, it lists it is only fitted with the fuel pulse regulator on certain chassis number ran...

Re: 850 Petrol part on fuel line

My 1975 245 had a similar looking part that rusted out soon after I purchased the car about 1990. The replacement came from Volvo dealer and was called pressure damper.

Re: What did you do to your Volvo today?

New front rotors and pads, also new CV joint on right hand side. I got another for the left side, but for some reason I got a 36mm nut on the right and a 32mm nut on the left. I cannot get the 32mm nut off because my socket isn't deep enough. Need to buy a new one. https://i.imgur.com/rlXds4Xh.jpg S...

Now this never happens for my cars, but included in there was a full set of inner and outer tie rods for a 98 P80. They appear to be the correct ones for the 98 V...

Re: What did you do to your Volvo today?

Spent a few hours this morning going over a 98 V70 T5 for the young owner. He is the brother of one of my friends at the new Volvo dealer who is a longtime service advisor. I had mentioned I think that he was quoted $6600 in repairs for the car which was a shock to him. He was planning to sell it bu...

Re: 850 Petrol 1995 2,5 L 20 V Lambda sensor Regulating probe issue

So the secondary locking device is missing from the receptacle? AMP part number in your picture is 4-965101-1, I guess if you look at the other side of the housing it should be Volvo part number 3545976? Just replace the receptacle housing...

Re: What did you do to your Volvo today?

Gave it a wash and now I don't want to drive it and make it instantly dirty again. https://i.imgur.com/MA0C1ZZh.jpeg Near the right rear fender is the last bit of rust too that'll need welding, but I'm gonna just convert the rust and put some paint over it and do that next summer. Think the car coul...
