You probably have to replace the clutch as the wired part is under the pulley It is pos...

Re: Buying a C70 2008 with Head gasket problem or one with transmission problem

I would get them and do a transmission fluid change on the one with 100K on it.
Take your time to do a head gasket on the one with 140K on it.

Re: Buying a C70 2008 with Head gasket problem or one with transmission problem

They are awfully stumpy small dipsticks and totally different in location to a 98 S/V/C 70
The lower radiator hose needs to be pushed aside to view it from the top. Wear gloves as it gets hot down there!!

Re: Camshaft position for timing

On the rear of the cams: 1. The two slots, one each camshaft should be horizontal (3:00 to 9:00). 2. The slots are off center. Intake should be above center and exhaust below center. There is a tool that bolts on the rear of the cams and keep the camshafts in the correct position as you align the ot...

Then check the power at the cable as it arrives at the fuse box under the hood. You should have 13+ volts under the hood at power terminal. The power cable can corrode inter...
