Re: Interior Door Pull Handles XC90
Like anything else Volvo, there are chassis breaks and model years (and interior codes) to contend with. The black part is on the base, and PN looks like this (post 2007)- Base Handle, left 1.00 39896654 CH -519165, Interior code: CH7X., Interior code: C00X, C70X, C90X., Interior code: CF0L, CF00, C...

Re: Another Anti-Skid Question
Volvo specific code reader, this will require a Volvo VIDA/DICE or another unit which is designed to interpret the Volvo module level (BCM-, ECM-, DEM- as examples) error codes. Someone on the forums is probably aware of other "Volvo" code readers by name and can offer suggestions, I am on...

Re: VIDA resets after Tranny swap.
I would suspect that adaptation is a mandatory for something like this, you're taking an adapted control unit off one transmission and putting it on another transmission. Take your time when you do the adaptation, find a nice industrial park or somewhere quiet you can go up and down, up and down, at...

Re: REAR alignments
If you look from under the back and towards the front of the car, there are two long horizontal bars that run from the center of the rear subframe to the wheel knuckles. Volvo refers to these as stays and the inboard bolts are eccentric to adjust the rear toe. I believe it's possible to adjust cambe...

Re: REAR alignments
Replace whatever is broken and get a four wheel alignment. No need to worry about the camber bolt, I mention it as a matter of reference.

Re: Fix a Volvo flip/switchblade key - DIY, pics and advice
Did another key swap last night, same old issue with glue delamination on the case halves. I used the donor in the bottom middle photo (above) for the replacement. That little screw is holding everything together extremely well, so much so that I'm going to try just putting clear silicone in the cas...

Re: 2004 XC90 2.4 FWD, OBD to USB cable for CAN monitoring
Sorry, I should have read your first post more clearly. For chassis range 134000-256551 (last 6 of VIN), the cover over the cowl had a process identified for replacement due to water ingress. Includes troubleshooting flows plus some sunroof stuff, came from public site (safecar.gov) a while ago- XC9...

Re: Leaking sunroof and hatch window
My bad, front drains are such a commonly reported concern that I made the assumption that they had already been checked. Check your drains and let folks know what you find- https://www.matthewsvolvosite.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=72515 , https://forums.swedespeed.com/showthread.php?102526-H...
