Re: ATF change out

Save your time and do just 2-3 drain&fills. Rationale: 1. Only a part of ATF flow is directed towards oil cooler, everything else circulates internally, i.e. new fluid mixes with the old one 2. Cooler return line goes basically into sump, where your fresh fluid mixes with whatever is splashing t...

Re: ATF change out

vtl, after removing the ATF plug is there a aluminum crush washer that needs replacement or can I re-use the old one? Yes, a regular washer. Flip it over, can reuse one more time, then replace. Re: P2097...driving me bonkers... yes, AGAIN (P2 - 2002 V70 2.4T)

Ok, so where can I get a smoke machine? I checked the Autozone loaner tool program and doesn't look like they have one....I'd rather not buy one, unless I can get one for cheap... Build one? Or ask in shops around your area if they can diagnose the leak for you. I have this one: https://www.amazon....

Re: Is it time for a new automatic gearbox ?

Right, that's why I mentioned kerosene under pressure :) Just a cleaner spray is not enough.

Maybe even heated low viscous ATF under pressure to avoid ATF dilution with non-ATF liquid?
